The 2016 Shortlisted Nominees: Forty Eight Hours With Justin O'Shea

Over the next few weeks, we will be profiling the shortlisted nominees for the Advance Global Australian Awards in an attempt to familiarise our community with these remarkable individuals. Today we're shining the spotlight on Justin O'Shea, a nominee for the category of Commercial Creatives.

Justin spent his formative years in a remote aboriginal community in Australia, working in the mines with his father and unpacking boxes at a supermarket. He then worked in streetwear in stores across Australia, Amsterdam and London.

As fashion director he helped grow mytheresa.com from a small store in Munich to a successful luxury e-tailer generating $130 million in annual revenue. 2016, after seven years, Justin took up a role as the new creative director of Italian menswear brand Brioni

It's no surprise Justin is often found in the news section of the media. The New York Times' T Magazine recently profiled Justin, tracking his moves in the 48 hours before a show. Get an insight here as to what makes this creative genius tick.
